Ulteig Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Lead Engineer for the Transmission Line group. The role focuses on the design of High Voltage transmission lines using PLS-CADD, with responsibility for project criteria, drawings, and construction specifications.

The candidate should have a ABET-accredited engineering degree, 7+ years of relevant experience (5+ in transmission lines), and a PE license. Remote work is supported; involvement with client projects is expected.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• Minimum 7 years of engineering experience, 5 in transmission line engineering.
• PE license required.
• Proficiency in PLS-CADD; PLS-POLE preferred.
• Experience with utility projects is highly preferred.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and manage workload.

Responsabilités

• Design high voltage transmission lines (69kV-500kV) using PLS-CADD.
• Develop construction documents, criteria, drawings, and specs.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and clients on scope and requirements.
• Estimate construction costs and specify materials.
