Job summary

Ulteig is seeking a Senior Engineer for the Transmission Line team to design high voltage transmission lines using PLS-CADD. Open to remote or any location, you will deliver construction documents and coordinate with clients and disciplines.

The ideal candidate has ABET-accredited engineering training, 10+ years in related work and a PE license. Proficiency in PLS-CADD/PLS-POLE and utility experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• PE license is required for the role.
• Proficiency with PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE is preferred.
• Experience with or for a utility is highly preferred.
• Strong problem solving and client relationship skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently and mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design high voltage transmission lines (69kV-500kV) using PLS-CADD.
• Coordinate project scope with clients and multi-discipline teams.
• Develop construction documents: plan/profile, structure drawings, foundations.
• Review drawings, calculations and specifications for accuracy.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to process improvements.
