Job summary

Ulteig Engineers, Inc. seeks engineer-level candidates for its Transmission Line group to design high voltage transmission lines (69kV-500kV) using PLS-CADD.

The role is open to sit in any location or remote. Ideal candidates hold a ABET-accredited engineering degree, 4+ years in transmission line engineering, and a PE license or plan to obtain within six months; PLS-CADD/PLS-POLE proficiency and utility experience are highly preferred.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• Minimum 4 years' engineering experience; 3+ years in Transmission Line Engineering.
• PE license or ability to acquire within 6 months preferred.
• Proficiency in PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE preferred.
• Experience with utilities is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design high voltage transmission lines (69kV-500kV) using PLS-CADD.
• Develop construction documents: criteria, plan/profile drawings, structure loading drawings, foundations and specs.
• Coordinate with multi-discipline team and client to define scope and requirements.
• Review drawings, calculations and specifications; mentor team members.
