Job summary

WSP is seeking a POWER Testing and Energization Lead P&C Technician Field Services to operate across multiple western states. You will lead field teams, perform advanced protective relay testing, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance on high voltage substations and industrial power systems.

Expect hands-on execution, data collection, and collaboration with engineers and clients. Travel up to 80% is required, with a strong emphasis on mentoring junior staff and delivering project-ready

Qualifications

• 11+ years in electrical testing, including substations and HV systems.
• Experience with protective relays and circuit breakers.
• Knowledge of NFPA/IEEE and NETA standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations for complex projects with technical guidance.
• Conduct testing and commissioning of protection and control systems.
• Mentor technicians and ensure safety and quality compliance.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and project managers on site.
