Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC (QISG) seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead the design of high voltage infrastructure projects. You will oversee the design team, perform engineering to support EPC proposals, and ensure quality and timely delivery for projects in the electric utility sector.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering with extensive HV substation or transmission project experience. Travel up to 10-25% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• P.E. license required.
• Strong technical expertise in structural, civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering with understanding of engineering principles and practices.
• Expert knowledge of electric utility engineering and construction standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design of high voltage infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
• Provide oversight for the design team performing detailed design and support EPC proposals.
• Review engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications for electrical substations or transmission lines.
• Ensure projects stay on budget and schedule with cost-effective solutions.
• Coordinate with government agencies, contractors, and the public to ensure successful delivery.
• Oversee quality control procedures and maintain detailed project documentation.
