Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee the design of high voltage infrastructure projects and provide oversight for the design team on EPC proposals.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in electrical engineering with HV substation or transmission line experience, a BS in ABET-accredited EE, and a PE license. 5+ years in the electric utility industry are required.

Qualifications

Detailed engineering for high voltage substation projects.
ABET-accredited BS in Electrical Engineering required.
P.E. license required.
Strong technical knowledge in electrical, civil, structural or mechanical engineering.

Responsibilities

Oversee the design of high voltage infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
Review engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications for substations or transmission lines.
Ensure projects stay on budget and schedule with cost-effective solutions.
Coordinate with stakeholders including government agencies and contractors to deliver projects.
