Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee the design of high voltage infrastructure projects and provide oversight for the design team on EPC proposals.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in electrical engineering with HV substation or transmission line experience, a BS in ABET-accredited EE, and a PE license. 5+ years in the electric utility industry are required.

Qualifications

• Detailed engineering for high voltage substation projects.
• ABET-accredited BS in Electrical Engineering required.
• P.E. license required.
• Strong technical knowledge in electrical, civil, structural or mechanical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design of high voltage infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
• Review engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications for substations or transmission lines.
• Ensure projects stay on budget and schedule with cost-effective solutions.
• Coordinate with stakeholders including government agencies and contractors to deliver projects.
