Job summary

WSP Global Inc. seeks a POWER Testing and Energization Lead P&C Field Services Technician to lead field operations across TX, NM, OK. You will perform HV substation relay testing, coordinate with engineers and subcontractors, and mentor technicians in safety and testing practices.

The role requires 11+ years in electrical testing, expertise with protective relays, and the ability to travel up to 80%. Proficiency with ProTeST, Protection Suite, ENOSERV RTS, Omicron, and AcSELerator is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 11+ years in electrical testing incl. HV systems.
• Expertise with protection relays & protective schemes.
• Advanced relay testing using Omicron/Doble gear.
• Experience with NETA/IEEE/NFPA standards.
• Knowledge of testing 15–500 kV systems.
• ProTeST, Protection Suite, ENOSERV RTS, Omicron Test Universe, AcSELerator Quickset familiarity.
• Ability to troubleshoot field issues & document reports.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% and lift up to 35 lb (100 lb with assistance).

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations with technical guidance and oversight.
