Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a POWER Testing and Energization (PTE) Lead P&C Field Services Technician to lead field operations in Texas and Louisiana, delivering testing and commissioning for HV substations and power systems. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 11+ years in electrical testing, including HV equipment and substation protection/tests.
• Experience with transmission, generation, or distribution relays and protective schemes.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations for complex projects with expert technical guidance and oversight.
• Perform protection and control testing on HV substations.
• Mentor technicians and coordinate with engineers and subcontractors.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on site.
• Act as primary field liaison with clients and project managers.
