WSP USA seeks an experienced POWER Testing and Energization Field Services Technician to perform testing and commissioning across Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. You will work on high voltage substations, protect relays, and document activities using digital tools.

Qualifications include 7+ years in electrical testing, proficiency with relay test sets, and strong safety and regulatory compliance. Travel up to 80% is required; a valid driver’s license is essential.

Responsabilités

• Perform testing and commissioning tasks for Protection and Control systems on high voltage substations.
• Conduct on-site protective relay testing using relay test sets (Omicron, Doble, etc.).
• Document site activities with field forms, digital tools, and mobile apps.
• Calibrate equipment, maintain inventory, and perform logs and reports.
• Support Project Lead or Field Supervisor; escalate complex issues.
• Participate in safety briefings and ensure health and safety compliance.
• Review junior technicians' work for quality and accuracy.
• Collaborate with technicians to maintain workflow, safety, and quality.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and report to field leadership.
• Perform clerical duties such as timecards and project reports.
• Adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct; ethical use of company resources.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
