Siemens Energy is seeking a Senior Technical Sales Manager to lead business development for the high-voltage substation EPC portfolio. You will be the primary technical authority, coordinating cross-functional teams and engaging with industry stakeholders to craft tailored turnkey solutions for major capital projects valued in the millions to hundreds of millions of dollars.

Locations: Raleigh, NC (preferred) or Orlando, FL. Travel ~30% as needed.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in customer-facing technical sales or related roles.
• Power transformers, HV circuit breakers, and switchgear (AIS/GIS) knowledge.
• Leadership in large, complex technical sales opportunities.
• Substation balance of plant and site construction knowledge.
• Strong pricing, estimating, contract terms, and risk mitigation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentations.
• Entrepreneurial, solution-oriented mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Define and lead the sales strategy for the substation portfolio across utility, data center, industrial, and IPP customers.
• Lead EPC conversion by identifying opportunities that evolve into turnkey scopes.
• Build long-term relationships with key accounts, EPC contractors, consultants, and developers.
• Serve as the primary sales authority for substation solutions and value-based offers.
• Prepare and deliver technical and commercial presentations to stakeholders including executives.
• Oversee large, complex bids with cross-functional alignment across commercial, engineering, procurement, PM, and legal teams.
• Negotiate multi-million-dollar projects and framework agreements.
• Promote a culture of excellence in the substations business through leadership.
