Florida Power & Light Company is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead the engineering and execution of complex, high-voltage substation projects. You will serve as the Senior Project Engineer and technical lead, managing projects from scoping through construction and commissioning, coordinating with internal teams, EORs, and suppliers.

This role requires strong leadership, deep electrical engineering knowledge, and the ability to drive safety, quality, cost, and schedule while traveling up to 25%

Qualificações

• 5+ years post-Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• ABET-accredited engineering program required.
• PE license or EI/FE certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provides engineering, design and environmental support
• Tracks and reports on project negotiations and performance
• Delivers company standards, policies, training, and support of organization
• Prepares communications, presentations and provides support at meetings
• Formulates researches, and develops improvement measures
• Works with other departments within the organization to establish customer requirements and project costs
• Ability to meet attendance and storm duty requirements
• Ability to work extended hours
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
