Job summary

Siemens Energy, Inc. seeks an entrepreneurial Technical Sales Manager to lead sales and business development for HVDC offerings. You will drive EPC opportunities valued at hundreds of millions, coordinating with tender management, engineering, legal, and partners across North America.

You will own bid strategy, engage customers early, and build strong relationships with utilities, developers, and regulators while guiding cross-functional teams through multiyear sales cycles in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field; 5+ years energy industry experience in EPC delivery or power transmission.
• HVDC expertise is a plus; MBA considered.
• Ability to travel frequently across North America and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of offers and opportunities with cross-functional capture teams during multi-year sales cycles.
• Own opportunity and bid strategy throughout the acquisition phase, including win strategy and pricing.
• Engage early with customers to discuss solutions, timelines and alternative approaches.
• Develop optimized project solutions with clear value propositions for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and partners to optimize overall solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and industry stakeholders.
