Job summary

Siemens Energy seeks an entrepreneurial Technical Sales Manager to lead sales and business development for HVDC. You will guide EPC project capture for multi-hundred-million-dollar opportunities, coordinating tender management, engineering, and legal teams across North America.

The role demands close collaboration with multiple stakeholders and frequent travel to engage regulators, developers, and utilities while shaping strategic bids and risk sharing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field; minimum 5 years in EPC, power transmission, or electrical utilities.
• HVDC expertise; MBA a plus.
• Ability to communicate with executive leadership at utilities, developers, EPC contractors, and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Capture and negotiate complex HVDC projects; lead offers with cross-functional teams.
• Own bid strategy during acquisition, including win strategy, pricing, and risk assessment.
• Engage early with customers to discuss solutions, timelines, and alternatives.
