Job summary

Siemens Energy in Raleigh, NC, is seeking a Senior Technical Sales Manager to lead the technical sales for our high-voltage substation EPC portfolio. You will be the primary technical authority, engage cross-functional teams, and drive opportunities from initial engagement to multi-million-dollar contracts.

This role requires deep product knowledge of transformers, breakers, GIS, and BoP, plus the ability to build long-term relationships with key accounts and EPC contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in customer-facing technical sales or related roles in power transmission.
• Product knowledge of transformers, breakers and GIS; BoP familiarity is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead sales strategy for substation portfolio and EPC scopes.
• Lead complex bids and coordinate with engineering, procurement and legal teams.
• Build long-term relationships with key accounts, EPC contractors and developers.
• Prepare and deliver technical and commercial presentations to executives.
• Negotiate multi-million-dollar projects and framework agreements.
