Quanta Government Solutions is seeking a Supervising Engineer to oversee the detailed design of high voltage substation projects. You will manage engineers, designers, and support staff to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery in compliance with standards. The ideal candidate holds an electrical engineering degree (ABET) with extensive HV substation design experience and a P.E.

license. Travel up to 10–15% may be required.

Competenze

• Minimum 7 years in electric utility or EPC roles for high voltage substation design.
• ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering degree.
• P.E. license required.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary engineering teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong technical expertise in electrical engineering and understanding of engineering principles.
• Knowledge of ANSI, IEEE, NEC, NESC, and related standards.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks and priorities in a complex environment.

Mansioni

• Review vendor documentation and coordinate with internal Sourcing Team.
• Prepare BOMs and provide Single Line Diagram and Layout plans.
• Coordinate directly with clients, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Plan and perform technical design reviews with design teams and report technical risks to management.
• Review Inspection and Test plans and attend FAT for major electrical equipment as required.
• List and report deviations to engineering specs and implement corrective actions with PM.
• Answer technical site questions and review non-conformance reports from site.
• Other duties as required.
