Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group seeks a Supervising Engineer to oversee the detailed design of high voltage substation projects. You will lead engineers, designers, and support staff to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while complying with regulations and standards.

The ideal candidate has a degree in electrical engineering and extensive HV substation design experience, with strong leadership and client-facing skills. Travel up to 10–15% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited university.
• P.E. license is required.
• Minimum 7 years in electric utility or EPC environments for HV substations.
• Proven track record leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Review vendor docs and coordinate with Sourcing Team.
• Prepare BOMs, develop technical concepts, and provide SLD/Layout.
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Conduct technical design reviews with design teams; report risks.
• Review ITPs and FATs for major electrical equipment.
• Identify deviations and implement corrective actions with PM.
• Address technical site questions from an engineering perspective.
• Perform other duties as required
