Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group is seeking a Project Engineer - Substation to oversee the design of high voltage substation projects. You will provide design oversight for the team and support EPC proposals, reporting to a Supervising Engineer or Engineering Manager within a substation design group.

The role requires a strong engineering background with at least 5 years in HV substations, ABET-accredited degree, and a P.E. license.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering.
• P.E. license is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electric utility/high-voltage substation projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects from inception to completion, including planning, design, construction support, and closeout.
• Review engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications for electrical substations.
• Ensure projects are on budget and schedule with cost-effective solutions.
