Job summary

SOLV Energy is looking for a Commissioning Engineer to lead testing and commissioning activities for high-voltage substations and solar projects. A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and extensive experience in high-voltage testing and commissioning are required. The position offers a salary in the range of $115,576 - $141,581 along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and 401(k) enrollment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in testing and commissioning of HV substations.
• 3–4 years of experience performing high-voltage switching operations.
• Proven commitment to safety with an excellent record.

Responsibilities

• Lead testing, commissioning, and energization activities for HV substations.
• Develop Testing & Commissioning Plans aligned with project specifications.
• Provide on-call technical support for system trips and abnormal conditions.
