Job summary

WSP seeks a POWER Testing and Energization Lead P&C Technician Field Services to manage field operations across multiple western states. You will lead complex testing and commissioning tasks for protection and control systems in substations and industrial sites.

You will mentor field crews, coordinate with engineers and clients, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while delivering high quality results in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• BS in electrical engineering or tech discipline preferred; strong field testing exp.
• HV field testing incl. medium/high voltage components and relays; protective schemes familiarity.
• Ability to lead field crews, ensure safety, documentation, and client communications.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations for complex projects with expert guidance.
• Perform testing and commissioning of protection and control systems at substations.
• Mentor technicians and coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and clients.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance; document activities and results.
• Travel up to 80% as required.
