Rivian Automotive seeks an experienced Senior Field Service Technician to lead complex vehicle repairs and field operations. The role combines hands-on diagnostics, remote troubleshooting, and mentorship while supporting service centers, customer sites, and production plants as needed.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in automotive repair, HV systems experience, and leadership history. Travel, flexible shifts, and a 15% night differential are included where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Graduation from automotive repair school or vocational program preferred.
• Minimum age 21 years.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to travel to regional locations or production plants as needed.
• Proficient in Windows/Mac environments and service systems.
• Physically able to perform tasks, lift up to 50 lbs.
• State mechanic certifications where required by jurisdiction.

Responsabilités

• Perform bumper-to-bumper diagnostics and complex repairs at service centers or on-site.
• Provide high-level diagnostic guidance and remote troubleshooting.
• Coach, mentor, and train junior technicians and internal partners.
• Utilize diagnostic tools to resolve complex HV and network faults.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality and drive standardization.
• Oversee parts operations, ordering, receiving, inventory, and billing.
• Produce documentation and provide root-cause analysis to leadership.
