Rivian Automotive seeks a Senior Field Service Technician to serve as a technical expert and leader for complex vehicle repairs and field operations. Based mainly at a service center, the role may involve remote work, travel to remote locations, or production plants to provide advanced field support.

The ideal candidate has 5–8+ years in automotive repair with HV experience, strong leadership skills, and a track record of continuous improvement.

Formación

• Minimum 5–8+ years automotive repair experience, bumper-to-bumper diagnostics.
• 3–8+ years hands-on experience working on High Voltage (HV) systems and HV diagnostics.
• Experience in leadership or supervisory roles (e.g., Shop Foreman, Team Lead, or Technical Mentor).
• Background in continuous improvement, process standardisation, and escalation management.

Responsabilidades

• Perform bumper-to-bumper diagnostics and complex repairs in service centers and field settings.
• Provide high-level diagnostic guidance and remote troubleshooting for field teams.
• Coach, mentor, and train junior technicians and internal partners.
• Utilize specialised diagnostic tools to resolve complex electrical, HV, and network faults.
• Drive quality through road tests and champion continuous improvement in repair workflows.
• Oversee complex parts operations including ordering, receiving, inventory, and billing.
• Produce high-quality documentation and provide root-cause analysis to leadership.
