Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Senior Field Service Technician to act as a technical expert and leader in complex vehicle repairs and field operations. The role supports service centers and may travel to remote locations or production plants to provide advanced field support.

Night shift hours run from 5pm to 2am, with travel as needed for business needs. The ideal candidate has extensive HV and vehicle diagnostics experience, leadership background, and the ability to mentor junior technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from automotive repair school or vocational program preferred.
• State mechanic certifications where required by jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Perform bumper-to-bumper diagnostics and complex repairs in service centers or field locations.
• Provide high-level diagnostic guidance and remote troubleshooting for field teams.
• Coach, mentor and train junior technicians and partners; lead problem-solving.
