Rivian Automotive is seeking an experienced Senior Field Service Technician to act as a technical expert and leader, supporting complex vehicle repairs and field operations. The role may involve remote work, travel to remote locations, or work at production plants to deliver advanced field support as business needs demand.

The position emphasizes diagnostics, mentorship, and driving continuous improvement in repair workflows, with a strong focus on HV systems and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Graduation from automotive repair school or vocational program preferred.
• Willingness to travel to regional locations or plants as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Perform bumper-to-bumper diagnostics, complex repairs, and inspections in service centers and field settings.
• Provide high-level diagnostic guidance and perform remote diagnostics for issues without local access.
• Coach, mentor, and train junior technicians and partner teams; lead problem-solving.
• Use specialized diagnostic tools to resolve complex electrical, HV, and network faults.
• Ensure repair quality through road testing and drive continuous improvement across workflows.
• Oversee parts operations including ordering, receiving, inventory, and billing.
• Produce documentation and provide root-cause analysis and feedback to engineering and field teams.
• Interact professionally with customers, suppliers, and internal teams during escalations.
