Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Senior Human Performance Advisor (HPA) to function as a principal technical expert supporting POTFF and HQ USSOCOM. The role guides HP services, readiness, training policy, and evidence-based program support for SOF personnel and their families.

This position requires U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance or eligibility. It is remote with national scope, offering comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within the Maximus enterprise.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited program in exercise science, health science, physical education, dietetics, physical therapy, sports psychology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of ten years of demonstrable experience including five years with USSOCOM POTFF.
• Current certifications or licensure such as CSCS/SCCC, PT, or RD/RDN are required or locally credentialed.

Responsibilities

• Function as an enterprise-wide technical authority for POTFF program at HQ USSOCOM.
• Lead strategic planning, policy development, and data integration for readiness across global SOF units.
• Direct and mentor a network of embedded operational health professionals.
• Drive creation and dissemination of training, research, and communications for human performance initiatives.
• Provide expert consultation to senior leaders to align human performance strategies with operational demands.
