Job summary

OnTrac is seeking a Director, Hub Operations in Bethel, PA to lead a 24/7 hub facility and drive financial and operational performance. The role requires on-site presence during late evening and overnight hours, especially peak season, with a focus on safety, SOP adherence, and continuous improvement.

It reports to the VP of Operations and oversees staffing, budget, and cross-functional execution. The position demands 7–10 years of managerial experience in logistics, deep HUB terminology

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of managerial experience in logistics or similar
• Extensive knowledge of HUB terminology and operating concepts (e.g., PPH, CCP, process rate)
• Strong critical thinking to resolve daily operational issues in a HUB
• Experience leading teams and managing performance in a facility environment

Responsibilities

• Lead people operations: hiring, coaching, performance management, staffing, engagement and recognition for all facility employees
• Execute business plans: partner with operations leadership to create and execute facility plans and strategies
• Own financial performance: manage the facility budget and P&L, identify cost-saving opportunities
• Drive cross-functional execution: partner with support departments to meet operational needs
• Improve key metrics: identify gaps and implement action plans
• Plan for disruption and continuity: establish contingency plans
• Oversee line haul coordination: maintain strong partnership with Line Haul team
• Lead safety and security programs: oversee safety, lockout/tagout, and conveyor safety
• Ensure standards and readiness: ensure SOPs and safety guidelines are followed
• Stay connected to the floor: walk the warehouse and provide on-site leadership
