Job summary

OnTrac is hiring a HUB Area Manager for the Logan Township facility, onsite at 701 Crossroads Boulevard, Logan Township, NJ. This role leads sort and volume management within an assigned area and reports to the Operations Manager. Expect responsibilities around staff leadership, safety, and operational efficiency.

The position requires a GED/Diploma with 2+ years in logistics or 3PL, plus at least 1 year of leadership. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• GED/Diploma required.
• BA/BS college degree preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of industry experience with at least 1 year of leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage, staff and schedule a team of Package Handlers and Lead Package Handlers in an assigned area in the facility to ensure quality standards while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
• Monitor employee progress, provide ongoing feedback, identify areas for improvement, and address performance/attendance.
• Conduct pre-sort meetings, keeping employees informed of daily goals, upcoming events, and safety priorities. Maintain an open line of communication to engage employees.
• Record and manage the departures/arrivals of and the flow of volume from designated Linehauls.
• Execute various administrative duties, including but not limited to, safety training, operational audits, and end of shift reporting.
