Job summary

OnTrac is hiring a HUB Area Manager in Bethel, PA to lead a team at one of its operational facilities. The role focuses on managing sort activities, improving processes, and ensuring safe, efficient operations in a fast-paced environment.

The position reports to the facility's Operations Manager and offers a competitive compensation package with benefits. The role requires a GED/ diploma and 2+ years in logistics with leadership experience.

Qualifications

• GED/Diploma required; BA/BS college degree in related discipline preferred
• A minimum of 2 years of industry experience – logistics, shipping, 3PL – with at least 1 year of leadership experience
• Ability to evaluate and summarize data and present answers clearly
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office and mathematical skills
• Effective communication including giving honest, constructive feedback
• Experience with hiring, training, motivating, disciplining, and completing performance evaluations for employees

Responsibilities

• Manage, staff and schedule a team of Package Handlers and Lead Package Handlers in an assigned area
• Monitor progress, provide ongoing feedback, identify areas for improvement and address performance/attendance
• Conduct pre-sort meetings, keep employees informed of daily goals and safety priorities
• Record and manage departures/arrivals and flow of volume from designated Linehauls
• Execute administrative duties including safety training, audits, and end of shift reporting
