Job summary

Ramboll is seeking an experienced HSEQ senior leader to oversee the safety, health, environment, and quality governance for its EPC/EPCM projects in the Americas. The role combines strategic governance with hands-on field support across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring consistent HSEQ execution and compliance.

You will guide project teams, align contractors, and lead risk-based safety initiatives while traveling to sites regularly.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of progressive on-site HSEQ leadership experience with substantial large-scale EPC/EPCM project exposure.
Strong background supporting multi-contractor, high-risk industrial construction environments.
Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority.
Proven experience supporting construction management delivery models where HSEQ performance is delivered through contractor execution and strong client/contractor interface management.

Responsibilities

Lead portfolio-wide HSEQ approach across EPC/EPCM projects with scalable processes.
Serve as primary HSEQ advisor to Project Directors and leadership teams.
Drive adoption of Ramboll’s HSEQ program into project-level behaviours and controls.
Provide governance over risk management, hazard identification, and site controls across projects.
Establish HSEQ governance structures scalable to multi-project nationwide delivery.
Coordinate contractor onboarding, alignment sessions, audits, and performance reviews.
Ensure HSEQ requirements are embedded in contracting strategies and procurement packages.
