Job summary

Ramboll in the Americas seeks a senior HSEQ leader to guide safety governance across a portfolio of EPC/EPCM projects. The role requires hands-on field experience and the ability to influence clients, contractors, and internal teams while aligning safety plans with project goals.

The successful candidate will establish scalable HSEQ structures, drive risk-based execution, and integrate safety across design, procurement, construction, and turnover activities.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will be a credible HSEQ leader with significant field experience on large-scale construction or EPC/EPCM projects.
• Strong contractor management capability and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders.
• Comfortable working across multiple projects, balancing governance with practical field support.

Responsibilities

• Lead portfolio-wide HSEQ approach enabling consistent standards and scalable processes across EPC/EPCM projects.
• Serve as primary HSEQ advisor to Project Directors and leadership teams.
• Drive adoption of Ramboll’s HSEQ program and translate its expectations into practical project-level behaviours and controls.
• Provide strategic HSEQ guidance during proposals and contract negotiations to align client expectations.
• Define HSEQ organization structures scalable for nationwide multi-project delivery.
• Establish standardized HSEQ execution plans across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover.
