Job summary

Ramboll Americas is seeking a senior HSEQ leader to oversee the safety, health, environment, and quality across its EPC/EPCM projects. You will drive governance, risk management, and contractor coordination while influencing senior stakeholders and field teams.

The role requires extensive on-site leadership, multi-project coordination, and a strong background in large-scale construction environments. Remote option is available and travel to project sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive on-site HSEQ leadership experience with EPC/EPCM exposure.
• Ability to travel regularly to project locations and engage effectively with field teams, project leadership, clients, and contractors.
• Proven experience supporting multi-contractor, high-risk industrial construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio-wide HSEQ approach enabling consistent standards and scalable processes across EPC/EPCM projects.
• Serve as primary HSEQ advisor to Project Directors and leadership teams.
• Drive adoption of Ramboll’s HSEQ program and translate expectations into practical project-level behaviours.
• Provide governance over risk management, inspections, and site controls across multiple projects.
• Coach leadership to strengthen leading indicators and promote safety leadership.
