Job summary

Ramboll is seeking a senior HSEQ leader to oversee governance and safety execution across its EPC/EPCM project portfolio in Ramboll Americas. The role balances strategic governance with on‑the‑ground support, aligning contractors, clients, and project teams to deliver safe, compliant outcomes.

The ideal candidate has extensive field experience in large-scale construction, excels at stakeholder management, and can influence without direct authority.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of on-site HSEQ leadership in large EPC/EPCM projects.
• Experience with multi-contractor industrial construction environments.
• Ability to influence without direct authority.
• Willingness to travel regularly to project locations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead portfolio-wide HSEQ approach across EPC/EPCM projects.
• Advise Project Directors on HSEQ strategy and governance.
• Drive adoption of Ramboll’s HSEQ program in projects.
• Oversee risk management and site controls across projects.
• Coach client and contractor leadership on safety performance and culture.
