Job summary

Veolia is seeking a hands-on Manager of Health & Safety to lead, train and coach teams across multiple sites in North America. You will implement core H&S programs, advance Management Systems, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with EPA, OSHA and DOT requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; safety/environmental science focus preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Management Systems or Health & Safety programs.
• Experience in industrial environments with safety program management.
• Working knowledge of EPA/OSHA and DOT regulations; ISO management systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitors safety, security and compliance performance across projects and operations.
• Leads incident investigations and conducts root cause analyses to drive corrective actions.
• Develops training plans and coaches workforce to improve H&S compliance.
• Supports audits and continuous improvement of Management Systems and EMS.
