Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking an experienced Manager of Health & Safety to oversee core H&S programs across assigned operations in the US. You will train, coach, and monitor workforce, develop and assess policies, and drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and compliance.

The role reports to the Director/Executive level and involves field and office work with travel. A strong background in Management Systems, EPA/OSHA knowledge, and at least 5 years of relevant experience is

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Management Systems and/or Health & Safety programs.
• Experience in industrial environments managing health and safety programs.
• Working knowledge of EPA and OSHA regulations, and DOT requirements.
• ISO/management systems understanding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitors safety, security, and compliance performance for assigned projects.
• Lead incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Conduct audits and inspections of H&S programs and track improvement plans.
• Develop training assessments and implement training for H&S staff.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Site H&S Coordinators to resolve safety issues.
