Job summary

Veolia North America seeks a proactive Health & Safety Manager to supervise the implementation of core Management Systems and H&S initiatives across assigned operations. You will train, coach, and assess teams to maintain high standards of safety, reliability, and compliance.

Responsibilities include leading incident investigations, audits, and continuous improvement projects, and coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams to safeguard employees, the environment, and client properties while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in safety, environmental science, or related field.
• Coursework or degree in management systems (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma) is a plus.
• Experience with EPA/OSHA/DOT regulations.
• Course work in supervisor/management is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in health & safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Monitors employee safety, security, and compliance with MS and H&S rules across projects.
• Develops a proactive H&S culture with field teams and clients.
• Evaluates MS and H&S programs for value and improvement.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses.
• Prepare reports and action plans for deficiencies or improvements.
• Coordinate training and awareness programs for MS and H&S.
• Collaborate with various departments to drive continuous improvement.
