Job summary

SCIGON in Salt Lake City, Utah seeks a Senior Application Engineer to own HR technology platforms end-to-end, from recruiting and onboarding through performance development and learning. You will be a hands‑on technical leader ensuring HR systems are reliable, secure, user‑friendly, and scalable across the employee lifecycle.

You will lead system design, integrations, and governance, partner with HR, security, and vendors to deliver compliant, data‑driven solutions with strong user experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of hands‑on HR technology experience.
• Experience with HR processes and workflows in a professional services environment.
• Led HR system implementations, upgrades, or major enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle of HR platforms, including implementation, enhancements, optimization, and post‑launch support.
• Provide Tier 3 support for HR applications and durable solutions.
• Partner with HR leaders to shape system roadmaps and align with business needs.
• Design configurations to improve usability, efficiency, and adoption.
• Ensure data privacy, security, and governance across systems.
• Design, build, and maintain integrations via APIs.
