Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a Sr HR Coordinator for the R2 Perishable DC in Elkton, MD. The role supports investigations, employee relations, benefits, and payroll processes in a fast-paced distribution center environment.

The position requires 1–2 years in HR with 3–5 years preferred, strong communication, and proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word. Expect up to 50% travel, weekend work, and exposure to harsh temperatures in a perishable DC.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of HR-related experience in a supply chain environment.
• 3–5 years of HR experience preferred.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Initiates, conducts, and concludes investigations in the DC and presents recommendations to HRBP and DC Director.
• Advises DC leadership on team member relations issues, including conflict resolution and corrective actions.
• Manages benefits administration including open enrollment and wellness programs; tracks LOA.
• Supports HR policies ensuring alignment with goals and compliance.
• Oversees payroll-related processes and maintains personnel records; ensures accuracy and confidentiality.
