Qualifications

• One year in the Management Analyst title; or Master's degree in Public or Business Administration from an accredited college or university and four (4) years of relevant experience; or An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Unit Head in supervising and coordinating the work of the Certs Team, Nominations Team, and Court Officer Processing Team.
• Providing day‑to‑day oversight of Management Analysts (JG‑25) and Senior Court Analysts (JG‑21), ensuring proper workflow distribution, separation of duties, and adherence to dual‑level approval requirements.
• Supporting the management of certification and nomination transactions to ensure compliance with civil service rules, appointment policies, and PeopleSoft processing standards.
• Assisting in oversight of the Court Officer onboarding process, including appointments, transfers, auto promotions, and collaboration with district HR offices.
• Helping ensure that unit operations are prepared for year‑round hiring cycles, expanded academy schedules, and increased processing volume.
• Implementing and reinforcing standardized procedures and statewide workflows, identifying outdated or inconsistent practices and recommending updates.
• Providing technical guidance to staff, district administrators, and courts on complex personnel transaction issues and interpretations of policy.
• Assisting with onboarding, training, and development of analysts, and offering coaching and support to staff at multiple levels.
• Monitoring team performance, preparing reports, identifying operational challenges, and recommending improvements that promote accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
