Job summary

The New York State Unified Court System seeks a Principal Management Analyst (Human Resources Systems Manager) in Albany, NY, within the Office of Court Administration. The role leads the HR Systems Unit and oversees daily operations of the HRIS to ensure data integrity and consistent statewide HR processes.

Qualifications

• One year in the Senior Management Analyst title; or Master’s degree in Public or Business Administration from an accredited college or university and four (4) years of relevant experience; or An equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong HR operations experience with large HRIS platforms; knowledge in PeopleSoft, Kronos, Workday preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating closely with internal court system stakeholders to align HRIS functionality with HR business needs.
• Recommending process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Provides oversight of vendor relationships, policies, procedures, and staff development.
• Keeping the knowledge base current on HRIS platforms and interfaces across state agencies.
• Overseeing Workday bi-annual software updates and related system requirements.
• Travel with this position is required.
