Job summary

The Home Depot in Atlanta, GA seeks a Manager SSC Human Resources to partner with management on HR decisions for a large client group. You will handle talent management, organization effectiveness, associate relations, compensation, benefits, learning and staffing.

Responsibilities include recruiting, coaching managers, implementing development plans, training, and aligning HR initiatives with corporate programs. Travel is occasional and the role reports to senior HR leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong coaching, counseling, negotiating and conflict management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Sound knowledge of federal, state and local employment law.

Responsibilities

• Identify breaches of culture/values and investigate associate relations issues.
• Recruit for exempt and non-exempt positions; plan and participate in job fairs.
• Provide leadership coaching and manage performance and development plans.
• Oversee training, orientation and HR initiatives for the client group.
• Support compensation and performance management for the client group.
