Job summary

Vertex Education seeks a Field Services Human Resources Manager to lead a team of HR Managers, oversee employee relations, and ensure compliant HR practices across the organization. You will coach the HR team, monitor KPIs, and partner with senior leaders to support a positive workplace.

The role covers workers' compensation, leaves, accommodations, and investigations, with emphasis on timely, well-documented processes and collaboration with legal counsel when needed.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in progressive HR roles including employee relations.
• 3+ years in leadership, supervision, or management.
• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field preferred.
• Working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and workers' compensation requirements.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations and advising leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of HR Managers and set priorities.
• Oversee employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation.
• Manage workers' compensation program and related claims management.
• Oversee leaves and accommodations, including FMLA and ADA processes.
• Ensure HR practices comply with federal, state, and local laws; maintain records.
