Job summary

Greatjob is seeking an experienced Field HR Manager to align business objectives with employees and management in designated units. This remote role supports the Midwest and involves leadership across HR initiatives, policy execution, and employee relations.

You will partner with management to drive retention, performance, and organizational design while ensuring compliance with federal and state laws. Travel up to 50% is required for integration activities and cross-unit collaboration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
• Willing to travel up to 50% due to acquisition integration.
• Working knowledge of compensation, organizational design, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and employment laws.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• SHRM-CP preferred but not required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret laws, guidelines, regulations and policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekly meetings with respective business units.
• Consult with line management, providing HR guidance.
• Analyze trends with HR to develop solutions, programs and policies.
• Manage employee relations investigations and resolve complex issues.
• Maintain knowledge of federal and state employment laws for compliance.
• Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to managers.
• Improve work relationships, morale, productivity, and retention.
• Guide organizational design and workforce planning alignment.
