Job summary

Vertex Education is seeking a Regional HR Generalist to provide high-touch HR guidance across multiple campuses. You will serve as the lead HR point of contact, supporting onboarding, leave management, employee relations, performance, and compliance within a hybrid or remote work environment.

Reporting to the Director of HR Client Services, you will collaborate with school leaders to ensure timely, compliant HR operations and a positive workplace culture across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field required.
• 3+ years of progressive HR experience, including employee relations.
• Experience supporting multi-site or regional operations.
• Knowledge of employment laws and compliance across states, including CA requirements.
• Experience managing leave processes (FMLA, ADA, workers’ comp).
• Strong client-service orientation and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive HR guidance to school leaders and staff across campuses.
• Lead employee relations matters, investigations, and policy interpretation.
• Support performance management, coaching, and succession discussions.
• Manage leaves and compliance with federal and state requirements.
• Coordinate onboarding, benefits inquiries, and offboarding steps.
• Partner with HR peers to implement regional HR programs and initiatives.
