Job summary

Silicon Valley Search Group is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Manager to lead employee relations, performance management, compliance, leave administration, and employee programs. You will partner with managers and staff to maintain a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace.

Responsibilities include guiding investigations, overseeing reviews and corrective actions, managing recognition programs, and supporting HR policy updates and safety initiatives across locations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR and Employee Relations experience.
  • Strong experience with workplace investigations, performance management, ADA accommodations, and leave administration.
  • Previous experience leading or managing a small team.
  • Experience within a regulated industry is preferred.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with HRIS/HCM systems.
  • Must be comfortable working on-site and traveling to other company locations as needed.

  • Support employment-related complaints, unemployment claims, and workers’ compensation matters.
  • Manage ADA accommodations and the interactive process.
  • Provide guidance on employee leaves, including FMLA, CFRA, and other applicable leave programs.
  • Maintain accurate employee relations documentation within HR systems.
  • Track trends and provide recommendations to improve HR processes and reduce risk.
  • Support HR policy updates, workplace safety initiatives, and special projects.
