Job summary

Reliance, Inc. in Fresno, CA is seeking an HR professional to manage payroll, HRIS data, staffing, onboarding/outboarding, and compliance across multiple locations.

This on-site role supports two additional locations within the PDM Group while driving exceptional HR service and employee relations. You will handle i-9 compliance, investigations, performance reviews, and leave case administration, with a focus on confidentiality and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of HR management experience.
• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Experience in a unionized environment including labor relations.
• Discretion handling sensitive employment information.
• Strong communication and analytical skills; knowledge of HR laws.

Responsibilities

• Process Weekly Payroll and Monthly Incentive Pay.
• Maintain historical HR records with filing/retrieval system.
• Maintain HRIS data and run required reports.
• Support staffing through job postings, recruiting, and interviewing.
• Maintain confidentiality in all dealings with management and employees.
• Ensure USCIS Form I-9 compliance and audits.
• Assist Safety Program and DOT compliance.
• Participate in Employee Engagement activities.
• Onboard and offboard employees for the location.
• Assist in investigations and disciplinary notices.
• Assist with Annual Performance Reviews tracking.
• Leave of Absence administration support.
• Represent organization at Unemployment hearings.
• Participate in HR/audit compliance reviews.
• Update and maintain job descriptions and requirements.
• Comply with federal/state HR regulations; support policy updates.
• Cooperate with Reliance reporting standards.
• Provide regular on-site HR support to two additional locations.
