Job summary

DCM Services is expanding to Columbia, SC and seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to own end-to-end HR processes and support the new site. You will manage the full employee lifecycle, partner with leadership, and scale day-to-day office operations while ensuring compliance and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field is required.
• 5+ years progressive HR generalist experience including full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, employee relations and compliance.
• Experience with federal and state employment laws and audits is essential.
• Strong organizational, project management and communication skills; able to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruiting for assigned roles, including intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing and offers.
• Design and implement onboarding processes from ground up for new hires.
• Serve as the main point of contact for new hires through first weeks of employment.
• Oversee I-9 verification, background checks, drug screening and fingerprinting.
• Maintain and optimize ATS/HRIS systems and HR documentation; ensure audit readiness.
• Develop, administer and analyze new hire and exit surveys; report trends to HR leadership.
• Identify retention risks and propose proactive solutions.
• Support recognition programs, engagement initiatives and culture communications.
• Advise managers on HR policies and workplace issues; lead investigations as needed.
• Manage performance management cycles and benefits open enrollment; track HR metrics.
• Oversee office operations, vendor relationships and facilities coordination.
