Job summary

MYR Group Inc. seeks an HR Business Partner to align HR strategies with organizational goals across US entities. You will partner with leadership to enhance employee management, improve performance, and embed HR practices into daily operations.

This role focuses on change management, policy implementation, and providing guidance on labor laws while supporting talent acquisition and development initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of human resources experience in construction or utilities preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
• HR Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee relations issues and support managers in resolving concerns.
• Advise on disciplinary and performance issues while ensuring policy compliance.
• Support organizational change efforts and drive adoption of new initiatives.
• Lead implementation of HR programs, policies, and initiatives to promote engagement and retention.
• Analyze surveys and data to identify trends and provide actionable insights for culture improvement.
• Act as liaison between business units and corporate HR.
• Guide managers on labor laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Stay aware of HR best practices to mitigate risks.
• Support in-house talent acquisition with internal promotions.
• Coach managers and employees on performance management processes.
• Assist with training and development rollout.
• Participate in regular team meetings (virtual and in-person).
• Understand and comply with Code of Conduct and Ethics.
