Job summary

PlanIT Group in Kentucky seeks an HR Generalist to support strategic HR alignment with the organization’s mission, manage hires, terminations, promotions, and records, and ensure labor law compliance. Partner with management to resolve issues and implement fair solutions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in HR or related field and about 5 years of HR Generalist/HRBP experience, ideally within construction. Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS like SharePoint is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years HR Generalist or HRBP experience preferred.
• Experience overseeing 500-1200 resources in a construction environment.
• HR professional certification preferred.
• Strong change management, risk reduction, and employee relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Understands the organization's mission, products/services and customers to align HR strategy with business goals.
• Ensure management is aware of policies and laws when making decisions impacting staff.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
• Process personnel transactions and maintain records.
• Provide counsel to management on investigations, performance management, discipline, and terminations.
