Job summary

Volunteers of America Colorado is seeking a Service Coordinator to provide housing assistance and resident support at a Montrose affordable housing site. You will conduct needs assessments, coordinate services, and foster partnerships to help residents age in place.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed care, harm reduction, and motivational interviewing, with responsibilities including outreach, program delivery, and documentation of client interactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience working with seniors and/or people with disabilities.
• Willing to obtain first aid, AED certification and CPR certification and keep current.
• Criminal and civil background checks within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' needs through surveys, visits and meetings.
• Coordinate and monitor services and activities of providers to residents.
• Provide case management and support housing retention.
• Develop partnerships and expand resources for residents.
• Maintain up-to-date records on services received.
