Job summary

Volunteers of America Colorado is seeking a Service Coordinator to oversee service provision and housing assistance for residents in the Affordable Housing Portfolio. The role focuses on seniors and people with disabilities, utilizing Trauma Informed Care, Harm Reduction, and Motivational Interviewing to support independence and aging in place.

The position collaborates with the Community Administrator, conducts needs-based assessments, and maintains partnerships to expand resident resources.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Windows and databases.
• Strong time-management and prioritization abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure residents' voices are heard and incorporated into programming.
• Assess resident needs through surveys, visits, and meetings; collect information.
• Coordinate and monitor services from providers to ensure care quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Maintain records of residents and services, including eligibility data.
• Develop and facilitate groups/workshops tailored to resident needs.
• Assist in relocating residents and securing emergency housing.
