Job summary

Volunteers of America Colorado is seeking a Family Service Coordinator to provide service provisions and housing assistance in an Affordable Housing setting. You will work with a Housing Site Manager to expand resources, conduct needs assessments, and deliver case management to diverse families and individuals with disabilities or seniors.

Qualifications

• A college degree in human services, social work, or 2 years in a closely related field or related experience.
• At minimum, one full year working with families.
• Criminal and civil background checks within 30 days of hire.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Proficient in using Windows and working with databases.

Responsibilities

• Conduct needs-based assessments and community outreach.
• Provide case management and housing retention support.
• Assist residents with income resources and public benefits.
• Advocate and liaise between residents and providers; coordinate with staff.
